Some updates

This is the gift that I've told some of you about. It's from Jim's friend (the same one that gave the hat to Catherine) for the new baby and each layer of the cake is filled with diapers.

Our cousins, Dan and Julie, had Ian's Baptism this weekend. Uncle Dan did it at the Monastery - which was beautiful.

Our neighborhood had a Halloween party in the park, so here's Catherine as Tinker Bell. She loves the shoes!

We decided to change the surround on the fireplace, but maybe the old one wasn't so bad after all. :-)

Pub Crawl

My cousins, brothers, etc do a pub crawl every year and go to the different cities where people live -- DC, Boston, Austin, etc, and this year the place was Detroit. So, we went down to wish them well. Below are a couple of my favorite shots.

Us by the Spirit of Detroit.

You the woman, Aunt Catherine!

Uncle Bob, Aunt Anita and Rob-Bob for a nice photo (Kara, Rob, Brandy & girls next time you need to come in)

My cousin Kate, Catherine and my sister Catherine. Oh, boy.

The Boss guys set the time (1pm), but apparently they were running on Boss time as they didn't show until after 2pm.

We had lunch in Greektown while we were there.

Cape Cod

We went to Cape Cod for Jim's cousin's wedding. It was a great time and it was nice to see everyone on that side of the family. Below are a couple pictures, Kim posted a lot more if you want to check out her site too.

We went to the ZooQuarium too. It's a nice petting zoo that has some aquatic displays too.

Grace and Catherine heading down the dock at the wedding.

Our latest photo.

Half Way Done (or so I hope)

We had the 20 week ultrasound done today - the clarity of the pictures and the screen was amazing. The heart, brain, kidneys, etc all look good and the baby weights 11 oz. After much deliberation we decided not to find out if it is a boy or a girl. Sorry all, you'll have to wait until February. But of course we were trying to guess the whole time: one time we "spotted" the umbilical cord (thinking it could have been something else) another time I "spotted" the spine (knowing that you look for three dots for a girl). Needless-to-say, no job offers to become ultrasound techs were offered to us.

So, alas, Catherine will have either a brother or sister as Jim and I were both able to identify that it's just one baby. :-)

Just a cute shot of Catherine and Uncle Mike. I'll post more photos this weekend.

Posing

She found her hat in the fall/ winter clothes and wants to wear it all the time. I asked her to stand there and say "cheese". This was how she posed.

"Hello... Sure." Note the shoes too.

Having a snack.

Grandma Woloskie came to visit too!

Vacation

Probably more pictures than you want to see of someone else's vacation.

If you saw Ann's blog with Catherine never wanting to leave the water, this is the result.

A nice picture of Ann, Rich and the girls while we were watching the sunset.

Rosie and Catherine catching up on old times.

All ready to go to Unlce Bob and Aunt Anita's. What a fun party that is.

She and Ethan were really cutting a rug.

Getting ready to try her hand at the pinata.

Needless to say, she wasn't the one that broke it.

We had a great time.

Beautiful Wedding

It was a beautiful wedding in a beautiful location. Getting home was another story. Thankfully, Jen and Tom volunteered to watch Catherine, because I'm not sure how she would have done the trip.

String Cheese and Shoes

She likes string cheese, but it gets stuck to her lip.

She was cold when she got out of the little pool that she has, so Jim put her in her warm PJs. The shoes were her idea.

In the tub

She loves taking a bath, but getting out of the bath is another story. I often break into a sweat just trying to get her clothes on her.

See her eye? She got that while she was moving the kitchen stools around. Ugh. That must've hurt.

Thank you, Aunt Ann!

Thanks to Ann for all the new necklaces for Catherine. She's been wearing them all the time.

She's even shared a couple with Scout.

This is her and the new chalkboard table Jim made her.

Nice weekend

We had great weather this weekend.

And what would the weekend be without a little dancing. Unfortunately, her favorite necklace broke a little bit after this picture.
